About Detailed Mechanical, your local mobile mechanic

Detailed Mechanical is a locally owned mobile mechanical business servicing Flagstone and surrounding Brisbane areas. It was founded by fully qualified light vehicle mechanic Matthew Stimson around a straightforward commitment: to provide honest, thorough mechanical work without cutting corners.

Matthew's passion for vehicles and all things mechanical began at a young age and led him to complete his trade in light vehicle mechanics. With approximately 11 years of experience in the automotive industry, he has developed extensive practical knowledge across vehicle servicing, repairs and diagnostics.

Working across different environments, Matthew saw firsthand the importance of honest advice, clear communication and consistently high-quality workmanship. That is what inspired him to establish Detailed Mechanical and offer customers a more convenient, transparent and personal mechanical service.

From routine servicing and diagnostics to brakes, suspension, cooling-system repairs, pre-trip inspections and selected 4WD upgrades, every vehicle receives genuine care and close attention to detail. Customers get clear explanations, practical recommendations and upfront quotes, with approval requested before any additional work is completed.

It is not about rushing through the job or recommending unnecessary repairs. It is about doing the work properly, keeping you informed, and helping to ensure your vehicle remains safe, reliable and ready for the road ahead.
